27 November 2023 – TolaData Release Notes

New features:

• Renamed the ‘Approvals’ tab from ‘Approvals’ to ‘Collected data approvals’ in the Admin Console.
• New profile customisation added to allow users to be able to modify their first and last name.
• A new ‘Discussion’ feature was developed for the platform to enable users to centralise their communication channels surrounding their workspaces/projects, logframes and data entries. The feature was integrated into multiple levels of the workspaces. This includes within the overall workspace, indicator plan, indicator and collected data entry level.

Fixes

• Resolved a datatable renaming glitch.
• Enhanced the Change log functionality by allowing the feature to capture any changes that occur to the collected value.

• Implemented a fix to ensure the basic organisation storage space values displayed in the org admin section were consistent for all TolaData customers.

• Collected data approvals feature: the organisation admin can now add this feature to their organisation such that collected data items of some/all indicators have to go through an approval process in order for their actuals to be calculated with the aim of having and reporting accurate data.

• File upload feature: Along with adding paths and linking URLs to online files, users will be able to upload one or more files at a time directly onto the platform.
• Performance: enhancement made to how collected data items are saved.
• Results framework: Added the capability to link results framework elements to activities and to filter the activity list by desired results framework element.
• Linked indicators: Added the option to view linked activities within the ‘details’ tab of an indicator.
• Indicator list filter: Added a status and results framework filter in the indicator list.

New features:

• Multi-factor authentication feature: organisation admins can configure multi-factor authentication from LastPass, Microsoft or Google for their users to use as additional security when logging in. This can be either on all logins or only on a selected number of logins. It is also possible to determine if this will be mandatory for the organization users or not.

• Fixed various issues when creating/deleting an approval

• Status feature: Added the capability to create custom status sets for workflow levels and filter them by status criteria. Also, renamed the workflow level status to stage and changed the yellow value and colour to amber.

• Fixed various issues related to bulk indicator import, collected data export and Google Drive table import.

New features:

• Dashboards enhancements: Added grouped horizontal and vertical orientations for the “Actuals vs. Targets: Overall target” widget type and added the capability to select multiple disaggregations for the “Disaggregated results” widget type.
• Collected data: added an overlay to inform users while saving is ongoing and added the capability to save collected data results in the background so that users can navigate elsewhere while that is happening.

New features:

• Time-based analysis of disaggregation for aggregated and non-aggregated indicators: For aggregated indicators, users can now see and analyse standard/custom periodic results for the disaggregated data for all their contributing indicators. This can also be analysed for disaggregation data within collected data items of a non-aggregated indicator.

Fixes:

• Various fixes to the already existing time-based analysis of aggregated indicators.

08 February 2023 – TolaData Release Notes

New features:

• Time-based analysis for aggregated indicators:  Users can now see periodic results of their aggregated indicators, i.e. analyse how they and their contributing indicators developed over time. Both standard and custom reporting period types can be used for this analysis. 

Enhancements:

• Added the “Project ID Code” column to the project list

Fixes:

• Various small fixes to the change log feature
• Fixed tooltip display issue in a specific dashboard widget type
• Small edge case fixes for GoogleSheet and KoBo imports
